Peace. Where? Here and up to you.
Can peace happen in our lives?
Conflicts do not cease to exist. Even when we don't hurt each other on purpose it still happens. Some times events seem absolutely difficult to forgive and move on from. What about when cancer or mental illnesses slowly and surely fades away our real cherished relationships. Is there hope for peace or are we wasting our time? By the choices I make I am uncomfortable when angry or upset. So I take it to mean that peace has value.
A lot of peace talk, but no peace at all
What do you do If you can't get to peace, or worse you have feelings of revenge! Any action taken with anger will require a clean up. Hopefully you don't lose someone you love by upsetting them beyond repair. If you can't forgive them they will surely leave you and your condemning righteousness. Did you think maybe you don't like that relationship. Leave and stop hurting it by blaming others for taking pride in your hurt. Get help before the law becomes involved. I tell you from experience it's ok to get help.
This is for peace, WAR!
How can protest claim to be peaceful? How can it be dark when you have the light. It cannot be argued, the truth works, the opposite does not. We can choose to keep calm as we leave aggression behind us. We can also get pumped up and protest causing rage, destruction and pain that can trigger violent conflicts. We cannot lie that we are not always choosing, we are always choosing, that's TRUTH.
Jesus did not fight a war with senseless violence. To millions he is the furthest thing from death. We will all meet our end but the apostles non-Jewish and Jewish spread the word of God because Jesus died for us in order to be here now. By faith and In faith only we know today he fulfills us with his real peace and God given hope especially when we need it. Being Jewish is significant but not to the higher call being that any person can be with and for God. If you Believe, we are one. That can be any person from any background of any colour that believes in Jesus. The Bible is the only word of God. It's not for everyone but it is his only book on Earth to guide us with love greater than expression like a gulp of precious air when you don't have any. You will never lose Jesus like everything else that goes away. That is the forever lovingness of God.
God is love, there is no greater, if love is your thing.
Love is to teach and PROTECT but that is not the same as fight and protest. That aggressiveness inadvertently takes lives. It should be obvious that peaceful behaviour will not be expressed as a protest. We are free to choose right actions. I follow the example of Jesus who taught without protest and strife. Strife was created by the wrong doers the liars and murderers. If you don't know the story of Jesus it ends and begins with the right and wrong people letting him be crucified without making an effort to save his innocence. By our standards he received anti-justice (that's who we are without him). It is beyond our grasp that he could do what he did to be an everlasting name with God and save all who believe in the blood sacrifice to love and serve others. A complete reverence for God's holy commandments. Jesus taught, healed and saves the helpless. If you weren't helpless you were worse off with self-made deceiving pride, illusions made in your own mind. Can you I or any of us save ourselves from that void of inherit selfishness. The gnawing that leaves us unfulfilled always yearning for more unfilling pursuits. Can we save our own lives, no but through God we can save others in Jesus name. You can't put a price on knowing God and you are free to love him.
I personally know you can start loving God, only with Jesus. Read the gospels, see which of the four you wil pick. The bible is not the bible brginning to end without accepting Jesus. It's just a book without him.
